Go Slay All The Dragons Lyrics
[Verse 1]I was climbin’ a mountainAsleep in the moonlightThe ghost of my grandpa came to me in a dreamAs the stars hung above usHe started singing this chorusHe laughed loud as heaven and said this to me [Chorus]Take a few chancesA few worthy romancesGo swimming in the ocean on New Year’s DayDon’t listen to the criticsStand up and bear witnessGo slay all the dragons that stand in your way [Verse 2]We stayed up and talked ’til the sunriseWar and love and sorrowHe said “Stop spending all your money on forgiveness of sins”Today is all you’re promisedDon’t trouble with tomorrowHe faded into the forest proudly singing this hymn [Chorus]Take a few chancesA few worthy romancesGo swimming in the ocean on New Year’s DayDon’t listen to the criticsStand up and bear witnessGo slay all the dragons that stand in your way [Verse 3]I woke up in a feverSurrounded by lightningAll my windows were open and I let the rain flood inThe past felt like the presentThe future uncertainBut I sang like a sparrow lost in the wind [Chorus]Take a few chancesA few worthy romancesGo swimming in the ocean on New Year’s DayDon’t listen to the criticsStand up and bear witnessGo slay all the dragons that stand in your wayGo slay all the dragons that stand in your wayGo slay all the dragons that stand in your way
