In addition to inflicting damage, Kokomi can also heal her friends, making her an excellent choice for a sub-DPS and support build. She is comparable to other Hydro characters such as Mona or Barbara in Genshin Impact. If you’re looking for a healer who can both do damage and provide support, Kokomi could be a good pick for your party.
Kokomi’s Attack
Normal Attack
Performs up to 3 consecutive attacks that take the form of swimming fish, dealing Hydro DMG.
Charged Attack
Consumes a certain amount of Stamina to deal AoE Hydro DMG after a short casting time.
Plunging Attack
Gathering the might of Hydro, Kokomi plunges towards the ground from mid-air, damaging all opponents in her path. Deals AoE Hydro DMG upon impact with the ground.
Kokomi’s Abilities
You can undoubtedly tell from her skill set that Kokomi is not a dedicated DPS. Despite receiving a Hydro damage advantage because of her Ascension stat, her base attack is very low. She may, however, become a fantastic healing Support with a decent Elemental damage output with the right build and utilization of her buffs. It’s preferable to start with Kokomi’s Elemental Burst to boost her Normal and Charged Attack damage and to trigger healing. Remember she must land Normal and Charged attack hits to restore team HP (not Elemental Skill hits). Thus, while her Skill damage has been boosted as well, you do not yet need to use it. You can use her Elemental Skill after the healing is complete. Plan your attack such that you can use Kokomi’s Burst once more before the Skill expires. Your Bake-Kurage will last much longer on the battlefield if you manage to use another Burst spell while it is still active (because of Tamanooya’s Casket). Although Kokomi only has an 18-second cooldown on her Burst, she requires 70 Energy to use it. To put it another way, increasing her Energy Recharge will have no negative impact on your Kokomi build. Remember employing Kokomi’s Elemental Skill also applies the Wet condition to her (similar to Barbara’s Elemental Skill), making her more susceptible to Elemental Reactions such as Frozen.
Kurage’s Oath (Elemental Skill)
Kokomi conjures up a ‘Bake-Kurage’ Hydro form (which is a jellyfish, apparently). Hydro damage is dealt to adjacent opponents by the Bake-Kurage, while nearby active characters are healed at regular intervals. As Kokomi’s maximum HP increases, so does the quantity of healing he receives. Using this Elemental Skill will provide Kokomi the Wet condition.
Nereid’s Ascension (Elemental Burst)
Kokomi provides Hydro damage to nearby adversaries before activating the Ceremonial Garment condition. Kokomi’s damage increases in accordance with her maximum HP when using her Normal Attack, Charged Attack, and Bake-Kurage attacks, as well. When Kokomi’s Normal or Charged Attacks strike an opponent, she replenishes the HP of all adjacent allies. The quantity restored is proportional to her maximum HP. Kokomi develops resistance to interruption and the ability to walk on water. These results are only valid for as long as Kokomi is in use. The Elemental Burst will end if you swap positions with an ally.

When Kokomi wears the Ceremonial Garment generated by her Elemental Burst, her Normal and Charged Attack damage bonuses (depending on her maximum HP) are increased by 15% of her healing bonus. Ascension 4 – Princess of Watatsumi (Passive 2) Reduces Stamina use when swimming by 20% for your teammates. It does not stack with Passive Talents, which have the same effect. Unlocked Tamanooya’s Casket (Passive 3) Kokomi’s Elemental Burst will replenish the duration of the Bake-Kurage if she uses it while the Bake-Kurage is active. Unlocked Flawless Strategy (Special Passive) When Kokomi is unlocked, she has a negative Critical Rate of -100 percent, but she gets a 25% healing bonus.

Weapon Options
Unambiguously, our new Hydro healer needs a secondary HP stat. Additionally, she needs a higher Energy Recharge. Fortunately, miHoYo will simultaneously release the ideal 5-Star Catalyst and the Kokomi Wish Banner. Apart from increasing Kokomi’s HP, providing a healing benefit, and providing a mechanism to recover Energy in concert with her Elemental Burst effects, the Everlasting Moonglow Catalyst also enhances her Normal Attack damage based on her HP. However, not all of us ordinary mortals will be able to obtain a 5-Star character and a 5-Star Catalyst through the Wish Banner. That is not an issue, however. The Prototype Amber is an excellent alternative, providing a more modest but still useful increase to HP and Energy. The Prototype Amber is craftable in a blacksmith station, therefore obtaining one is far from difficult. If you presently lack the necessary resources, consider purchasing a Thrilling Tale of Dragon Slayers 3-Star Catalyst. Its Support ability is always useful, as it will provide a much-needed boost to your health. Everlasting Moonglow (5-Star) — Significantly increases your HP. Additionally, increases healing bonus by 10% and Normal Attack damage by 1% of Kokomi’s maximum HP. Normal Attack strikes shall recover 0.6 Energy following the use of an Elemental Burst. Prototype Amber (4-Star) – Additionally, this Catalyst grants an increase in HP. Additionally, using an Elemental Burst generates between four and six Energy every two seconds (for a total of six seconds). For the duration of this effect, all teammates generate up to 6% HP every two seconds. Thrilling Tales of Dragon Slayers (3-Star) — With its secondary stat, increases HP. Additionally, switching to another character increases that character’s attack by 24 to 48% for ten seconds (can occur once every 20 seconds).
Best Kokomi Artifacts
At first look, the Maiden Beloved Artifact set appears to be the most logical choice for Kokomi’s healer. Bear in mind, though, that both Kokomi’s healing and attack damage scale with her maximum HP, which means that it’s relatively simple to boost her healing to a sufficient level without using Maiden Beloved. High-level players, in particular, may favour Heart of Depth, as its whole set complements Kokomi’s powers extremely well. Additionally, you can combine any of them with the Tenacity of the Millelith or (if necessary) a two-piece Emblem of Severed Fate. With regards to Kokomi’s stats, you can’t go wrong with the HP percent on the Sands and Goblet slots, as well as the Circlet’s healing boost. It’s advisable to avoid Hydro extra stats for Kokomi, as she is not a DPS and her Attack scales with her HP in any case. As a sub-stat, look for Artifacts with a high Energy Recharge. Naturally, given her inability to use her Critical, anything is preferable! Maiden Beloved – (2) +15% Healing effectiveness. (4) If you use an Elemental Skill or Elemental Burst, all teammates receive +20% healing for 10 seconds. Heart of Depth – (2) +15% Hydro damage bonus. (4) Normal and Charged Attacks gain a 30% damage increase for 15 seconds after casting an Elemental Skill. Millelith’s Tenacity – (2) Increases HP by 20%. Emblem of Severed Fate – (2) Energy Recharge +20%.
